Cashless Insurance Process

Through this process medical expenses & hospitalization charges are settled directly between insurance company & the network hospital


Preauthorisation process /claim intimation

  • Patient needs to submit necessary documents like duly filled preauth form, Aadhar & pan card of patient, Aadhar & pan card of policy holder, policy Card, Investigation reports & KYC form 7 days prior in case of planned admission.
  • In case of emergency admission these documents should be submitted within first 24 hrs of admission.
  • These details are further uploaded on the Insurance company portal .After a successful verification of documents, claim is approved, claim authorization letter along with claim Id is generated.

Discharge/ final Approval

  • On the day of discharge necessary documents like final hospital bills, (which includes summary bill, detailed breakup format, medicine, lab & surgical bills), Discharge summary, Investigation reports & any other reports Supporting the case is uploaded on the insurance portal.
  • After successful verification of documents, final authorisation letter is generated (which states the approved claimed amount)
  • Queries during for hassle-free preauth & discharge process cashless claim are answered for hassle-free cashless claim.

Claim Settlement

  • Original hard copies of all the documents uploaded during preauth & discharge are couriered to the respective Insurance company for final claim settlement.
