Paediatrics refers to the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care and treatment of infants, children and adolescents. There is a vast range of illnesses and diseases that the little ones go through that a paediatrician examines.

A paediatrician has a responsibility to cross-check the following with respect to children’s health :

  2. Give vaccinations
  3. Know and compare the growth of a child in behaviour and skills
  4. Diagnose and treat a child’s health, illness and other health problems
